One of VOX's targets is to increase the number of people involved in citizen governance and civic participation roles.

As a local citizen you can get involved in a number of governance roles in which you can help to improve services, make decisions and support your local community. These roles range from becoming a School Governor to sitting on the Independent Monitoring Board of HM Prison Service.

You don't necessarily have to have any experience to take on these roles, just a desire to improve your community or an interest in the services involved.
